ACCA Trainee Development
The ACCA trainee development stream recognises the learning opportunities that Walker Thompson provides for its employees working towards the ACCA Qualification.
The scheme is accessible to all and the level of approval awarded reflects the support that we as an organisation provide to trainees.
ACCA have reviewed the learning and support that our organisation provides, focusing on our study support and our provision of suitable practical experience. We are pleased to announce that we met the platinum training standard, the highest of their three levels of approval.
As a result of our meeting the platinum training standard our trainees are automatically eligible for an exemption from the requirement to complete a Trainee Development Matrix (TDM) as part of ACCA’s Practical Experience Requirements (PER). Our trainees are simply required to submit an annual declaration confirming they are employed by an Approved Employer who holds platinum approval. The exemption is a great benefit for our trainees and minimises ACCA compliance requirements.
