ACCA Practising Certificate Development
The ACCA practising certificate development stream recognises employers who provide learning opportunities for trainees and members training towards the ACCA practising certificate or the ACCA practising certificate and audit qualification.
ACCA Professional Development
The ACCA professional development stream recognises employers who provide learning opportunities for ACCA members to support their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Technical updates ensure that our staff are fully equipped to deliver a quality service.
The ACCA trainee development stream recognises the learning opportunities that Walker Thompson provides for its employees working towards the ACCA Qualification.
The scheme is accessible to all and the level of approval awarded reflects the support that we as an organisation provide to trainees.
ACCA have reviewed the learning and support that our organisation provides, focusing on our study support and our provision of suitable practical experience. We are pleased to announce that we met the platinum training standard, the highest of their three levels of approval.
As a result of our meeting the platinum training standard our trainees are automatically eligible for an exemption from the requirement to complete a Trainee Development Matrix (TDM) as part of ACCA’s Practical Experience Requirements (PER). Our trainees are simply required to submit an annual declaration confirming they are employed by an Approved Employer who holds platinum approval. The exemption is a great benefit for our trainees and minimises ACCA compliance requirements.
The AAT employer accreditation scheme recognises that we adopt a positive and planned approach to the professional development of our AAT members, whether currently studying for an AAT qualification or, once qualified, supporting them in their Continuing Professional Development.
The AAT accreditation scheme demonstrates our commitment to our staff and their professional development.
