Investors in People Accreditation
On 14 May 2008 the practice underwent its fifth 3 yearly assessment against the Investors in People Standard. We were first assessed in the mid 1990's and at that time Walker Thompson was the first Coventry accountancy practice to achieve all the necessary requirements.
Investors in People is a national standard for the recognition of people development within businesses and is an external assessment of how we lead, manage and develop our staff so that our clients and other stakeholders receive the highest quality of service possible.
This year we decided to seek assessment against two key areas of our business, Strategy and Management Effectiveness as part of the overall process. Assessment results show that in these areas we demonstrate "clearly established good practice well in excess of the basic requirements of the Standard".
